Once we’ve selected a date and your session fee is paid, you’ll be officially booked—and we’ll begin planning all the meaningful, fun, and personal touches that will bring your story to life.
1. Say Hello
I’m happy to come to your home for a personalized consultation. It’s a great way for us to connect and plan every meaningful detail together.
I’ll help you choose the perfect location—from wide-open fields to mountain views to a more urban vibe—based on the look you’re going for.
We’ll also talk through styling for your family and any personal touches you'd like to include, so your session feels effortless and fully you.
2. In Person Planning
I’ll meet you at the location we planned, and from there—we’re off! My sessions are laid-back, full of laughter, corny dad jokes, and genuine connection.
I’ll guide you through a mix of posed moments and natural interactions to capture real smiles and authentic connection.
It’s not unusual for kids (and parents!) to say, ‘That was actually fun!’
3. Session day
About a week after your session, we’ll meet—either over Zoom or in the comfort of your home—for your reveal. This is where the magic happens.
We’ll laugh (and maybe even shed a few happy tears) as we go through the images we created together. Then, I’ll help you select your favorite portraits and the perfect products to showcase your story—so you can enjoy them every single day for years to come.
