The senior Experience
As a mom, I get it. Before you know it their senior year has come and there’s so much to do. You want to stop time, enjoy who they are right now at this very moment... their style, their personality, their hobbies.
I want to learn all about your teen, get to know them, their interests and hobbies. So that they feel relaxed and comfortable, and you get the images you love. My real go though is getting them to laugh... that's my secret goal. This all culminates in beautiful heirloom products that will last their lifetime.

I will give you a call because I want to hear all about your senior, what they like, what they spend their time doing, things you love to do together. I will also answer any of your questions, give you additional information, we'll schedule a date for a consultation to go over all the session details.
1. Say Hello
We will pick a session location to suit the vibe you would like. I shoot at a range of locations all around southern Colorado and have many beautiful spots to recommend, whether its a park, the mountains or something a little more urban.
I will help you and your senior pick out outfits that really highlight their personality as well as talents or skills they have developed.
If we are including the whole family for a few shots (highly encouraged) I will help select outfits for everyone so the overall look comes together beautifully. If there are any props or things you would like included I will get all of this information to make sure your photoshoot is exactly as you would like.
2. in person planning
It's photoshoot day! Let's have some fun!
I will meet you at the chosen location and then we will get started! My photoshoots are always full of fun, corny dad jokes, and many times by the end of the session we are planning a game night to hang out some more!
I will guide you through both poses and also just interacting with me and anyone else that comes along to help create natural emotive images and have an all around good time!
3. your session
About a week after the session, we'll meet at the at your home or over zoom and you'll get to see the images! We'll laugh and maybe even shed a few tears as we go through all the images we captured . Together we'll select your favorites, and best products for your family so you can enjoy them for years to come!
4. viewing and ordering appt
Yay, your products are in and they look beautiful.
I'll schedule a time to bring them to you. Many of my senior families get a combination of an album and wall art. I even go the extra mile and hang those beautiful portraits on your walls. One less thing on your to do list! Yay!

As a teenaged girl, our daughter was very self-conscious and didn't think she was photogenic. Working with Samantha has really changed all of that. Ava has a newfound sense of confidence. I think this is in part because Samantha took such amazing pictures, but also because of the positive way she speaks to clients to really get the very best shot.
